Spa town Borjomi with its mineral spring and the mountain resort of Bakuriani — reachable by the legendary narrow-gauge railway.
Borjomi is a green spa town in the Kura gorge at 800 metres, famous for its mineral water. In the central park you can taste the water straight from the spring and take the cable car up for a view of the town.
Bakuriani is a mountain and ski resort at 1,700 metres among pine forests. In winter people come to ski, in summer to breathe the mountain air — it is a favourite place for family holidays.
